So who is behind this site? Adolfo Mendez, former public school history teacher.
I completed my master’s degree in history from Southern New Hampshire University in April 2016. Before that, I worked as a professional journalist for newspapers, magazines and online-only publications. As a historian, I am personally very interested in early America, the Gilded Age, the Civil War, the World Wars and the Civil Rights era. I have also worked with high school students in Chicago in various capacities.
